Meet the Chef
Chef Melissa Helton is the proud founder and head chef at Mel’s Table. A California native, Mel discovered her love for cooking alongside her Grandma Earvest, using food as a love language from an early age.
Having lived in some of America’s top culinary hubs—like the DMV, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas—Mel has shaped her self-taught skills into a refined culinary style. Her dedication to flavor and experience led her to cook at the prestigious James Beard Kitchen for some of the industry’s most renowned chefs.
Chef Mel believes that food is a full-sensory experience—from the first cut of a vegetable to the final plate. Her mission is to ensure that every bite reflects her passion, precision, and purpose.
